This report presents the second workshop conducted under an ICLEI Colombia project on strengthening local urban planning for climate change adaptation in Chile. The workshop focused on building the capacities of municipal stakeholders through the use of practical tools and participatory approaches to assess climate risks and vulnerabilities. It highlights experiences from participating municipalities, including Independencia, Vitacura, and Renca, and their efforts to integrate climate adaptation into local planning instruments.

The report outlines key discussions on the application of assessment tools, the identification of priority climate hazards, and the challenges of data availability and coordination across municipal departments. It also emphasises the importance of aligning adaptation planning with existing frameworks such as local development plans and climate action strategies.
