Mark New

Mark New is the Director, African Climate and Development Initiative, University of Cape Town. He has worked in climate change impacts and adaptation for over twenty years, with interests in: Water resources, agriculture, biodiversity and nexus issues; Climate impacts assessment and adaptation planning; Climate modelling and climate scenario development; Decision making under uncertainty; Interdisciplinary research methodologies and approaches. Mark's geographical experience includes: Africa, South Asia, South America, Europe; South Africa, Lesotho, Botswana, Namibia, Mozambique, Zambia, Rwanda, India, Nepal, Peru, Chile, Brazil, and several Caribbean states.
