Summary

This report by ICLEI South America and ICLEI Argentina, developed in collaboration with the Adaptation Research Alliance (ARA) Secretariat, presents the outcomes of the Latin America and Caribbean regional workshop aimed at strengthening climate adaptation through co-creation and collaboration. The workshop brought together micro-grant teams and regional stakeholders to share knowledge, identify risks and barriers, and foster peer-to-peer learning on adaptation challenges.

It highlights key themes such as resilience, community participation, vulnerability, and the importance of multilevel governance and cooperation. The findings emphasise the need to address poverty and inequality, and to strengthen knowledge exchange across actors. They also highlight the importance of promoting action-oriented research to support effective adaptation planning and implementation in the region.
