Shreesha Thapa
Shreesha joined as the Membership Engagement Intern of the Adaptation Research Alliance in August 2025. In this role, Shreesha supports on managing membership engagement, maintaining and analysing member data, supporting outreach and communications, and contributing to reporting and strategy development. Shreesha holds a Master’s degree in Urban Innovation and Sustainability from the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand. Her research assessed peri-urban livelihood vulnerability to natural hazards in Nepal using GIS-based and evidence-driven approaches. With a background in architecture, she brings an interdisciplinary perspective to disaster risk reduction, urban resilience, and climate adaptation, and is particularly interested in advancing practical, evidence-based solutions for vulnerable communities.
