Summary
This report documents the Cooperation Seminar conducted as part of the project “La Planificación urbana local de la adaptación al Cambio Climático en Chile (PULAC)”, implemented by ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability with support from the Adaptation Research Alliance (ARA) and in collaboration with the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
The seminar brought together local authorities, technical teams, and academic partners from the municipalities of Renca, Independencia, and Vitacura to share progress and reflect on the integration of climate change adaptation into urban planning.
The report outlines key project components, including climate risk analysis, capacity strengthening, and the development of strategic partnerships, while emphasising the role of local governments in linking scientific knowledge with policy implementation and advancing coordinated climate action across governance levels.
