The National Science and Technology Center for Disaster Reduction (NCDR) (established 2003) is a premier Taiwan-based research and administrative institute operating under the National Science and Technology Council to build disaster resilience. It provides technical advice to the central government, develops, and implements technology for disaster risk reduction, including hydro-meteorological, geological hazards, and climate change adaptation.
