Gobeshona Global Conference 4

The 4th Annual Gobeshona Global Conference focused on monitoring locally-led adaptation and resilience, organized by the International Centre for Climate Change and Development, will be held virtually from 1 to 8 March 2024.

This year’s Gobeshona Global Conference will be focused towards learning and collaboration around the impactful 8 principles for locally-led adaptation and resilience. Many organizations and governments embrace these principles. The conference extends a warm invitation to all these signatories.

Gobeshona wants to showcase how you’re implementing the 8 principles, your methods for monitoring progress, and the valuable lessons you’ve learned along the way. This exchange of knowledge, experience and best practices holds immense potential for all participants, fostering a collective understanding of how to effectively put these principles into action.

The 2024 Gobeshona Global Conference stands as a platform for shared learning on monitoring locally-led adaptation and resilience. By uniting voices from across the globe, it can compel the movement towards a more effective approach to tackling climate change at the community level.
