Cho Cho Shwe
Head of Community Engagement and Participatory Design
Cho is a practicing Licensed Architect, graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture (Honors) in 2012. She has more than eight years of experience in Research, Architecture and Building Industry. She has been involved in the Yangon Secretariat Building Conservation Project and is continuously pursuing to become a Human-Centered designer and heritage conservation architect. She believes that Myanmar has diverse cultures and social backgrounds, an intrinsic and unique built environment and historical heritage. She joined Doh Eain because of Doh Eain’s bottom up approach to become an inclusive community, preserving and conserving Yangon’s built heritage and Intangible heritage. After attending the Conservation Course in Penang, she has been working on a number of significant historic buildings and developed a Conservation Management Plan for Bogalay Zay Street.
