Lamin Saidy

My name is Lamin Saidy. I was born and raised up in The Gambia, West Africa. I work for the National Disaster Management Agency as a Regional Disaster Coordinator.I serve as the Focal Point for the Africa Risk Cpacity Contingency Planning for the Country Team. In my capacity as a Disaster  Coordinator I serve as the team lead in Disaster Assessment and Data Collection.

I completed my post graduate and graduate degree in Public Administration and International Relation and Diplomacy from The University of The Gambia. I also attended several others trainings from Kofi Annan International Peace Training Center in West Africa Disaster Preparedness Initiative (WADPI), Humanitarian Assistance (HAWA and Conflict Prevention). I am a trained United Nations Disaster Assistance and Coordination (UNDAC) Team member.
