Evidence Aid UK is a global organization specialising in summarising systematic reviews relating to disasters and humanitarian emergencies including pandemics. Advocating and brokering knowledge from high quality systematic reviews outside of the medical/public health arena has been slow but is gaining momentum across all sectors. Evidence Aid takes high quality evidence from peer reviewed systematic reviews to a new level. Evidence Aid summarises the systematic reviews related to various disaster types or health emergencies and pandemics and curates them into evidence collections. All our summaries are open source. building acknowledged expertise from the over 1000 summaries that have been produced from synthesising systematic reviews. The summaries and simple search facility and indexing system support policy and decision-makers to assist them to decide whether (a) our summary provides the information they need; or (b) they need to read further (in which case a link to the full article is included in the summary as well as noting if the article is free to view).
